About
Interactive patient care, built for the bedside
TVshuru Health turns the one screen every patient already knows how to use — the television at the bed — into a calm, capable platform for engagement, comfort, and connection.
Why we exist
Hospitals have digitized almost everything — except the patient's own experience of being in the room. The bedside television, the largest interactive surface a patient touches all day, has stayed a passive box of broadcast channels. Meanwhile patients wait on call lights for a cup of water, leave without understanding their discharge instructions, and lie awake anxious and far from family. TVshuru Health exists to close that gap: to give patients a sense of control and to give nurses back the time that non-clinical interruptions quietly consume.
What we believe
- Calm beats busy. A hospital screen should reduce stress, not add to it. Large type, high contrast, and a remote-first design that works from the bed and for older patients.
- Complement, never replace. TVshuru Health is not a nurse call system and not a medical device. Clinical emergencies always use the certified call button; TVshuru Health handles everything around it.
- Evidence over hype. Every specialty pathway and every claim on this site is grounded in published research, and we cite it.
- Specific by ward. Engagement works when it is relevant. Geriatric, oncology, pediatric, maternity, rehabilitation, behavioral health, cardiac, and surgical patients each get pathways built for them.
How TVshuru Health fits your stack
TVshuru Health runs on hospital-grade smart TVs, Android TV devices, and existing bedside terminals, and integrates with admissions, EHR, dietary, and service-request systems so the screen reflects the real patient and routes real requests. It operates under a Business Associate Agreement with each hospital, with patient data encrypted and cleared between admissions. See Data & Security for detail.
Who we are
TVshuru Health is built by Tangible Spin LLP, a software company focused on calm, screen-first products for real-world environments. We work directly with clinical educators, nurse managers, and digital-health teams to shape each deployment around how a ward actually runs.
